we are now here in Japan, we have our house, our puppy and our kitty.
Our house is a three bedroom two and a half bathroom end unit row house. It is super cute and way perfect. It has a yard and room for a garden. I just bought tomatoes, peppers, herbs, lettuce, melons and a clematis today to plant... if anyone has tips for growing any of those things let me know.... And Monday I am going to go see if the Self Help center on base has any free soil or flowers which I hear they often do!!!
Japan is AMAZING!!!! the food is FANTASTIC, the views are phenomenal (walk outside and see the lake with the mountains behind it, F-16 flying out the back window... giant crows) but the very best part of Japan are the people, never in my whole life have I met nicer, harder working, honest, people.. it is incredible.
There are no squirrels or raccoons up here but there are giant crows... giant ugly black scary loud crows that will go through your garbage and trash your yard... yikes.
The weather is great, it has been sunny everyday but with a few showers, it has been chilly in the mornings but nice during the day
We have explored Misawa and the towns around us little bit over the last few days, tomorrow we are planning on doing yard work and maybe going to the ocean....
DON'T WORRY PICTURES ARE COMING... we have to wait for our stuff to get here before I can post them.... Hopefully it will get here soon!!!!
Love Lisa
